The short version

This website sets no cookies of its own. Not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones, which is why there is no cookie banner. The one exception is the Google map of our Business Profile at the foot of each page and on the contact page: it loads as you scroll to it, and when it does Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.

How we count visits

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not fingerprint your browser. It tells us how many people looked at which page, roughly where they came from (a search engine, another website, or typed in), the country, and whether it was a phone or a computer. It does not tell us who you are, and it does not follow you to other websites.

Cloudflare already hosts this website, so the visit is counted by the same company that serves the page to you.

We stopped using Google Analytics on 15 October 2026. If you accepted its cookies on an earlier visit, the site deletes them on your next visit, together with the record of your choice that we used to keep in your browser.

The Google map at the foot of each page

The footer of every page, and our contact page, show a map from Google Maps with our Google Business Profile in its corner: our name, our rating and a link to our reviews. It loads on its own as you scroll down to it, without a button. Because it comes from Google, your browser requests it from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and may read or set its own cookies on your device to run the map and for its own purposes, as it does on any website with a Google map. We do not receive any of that information.

If you would rather Google did not see the request, stop before the foot of the page, or block third-party content for this site in your browser; the rest of the page works the same without the map. Google's own explanation is in its cookie policy.

Maps on our area pages

Our area pages show a street map, and it loads straight away without asking you. That is deliberate and it is why the area maps are not Google Maps. The map comes from OpenStreetMap, whose tile servers set no cookies and give your browser no identifier, so there is nothing on your device to consent to.

Your browser does request the map images from openstreetmap.org, which means that organisation sees your IP address the same way any website you visit does. It is a not-for-profit foundation and it does not use those requests to advertise to you.

What the booking form keeps in your browser

While you fill in a booking form or the price calculator, your answers are kept in your browser's session storage for that tab, so they survive a page reload or a trip to the calculator and back. This is not a cookie. Nothing in it is sent anywhere until you press send, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab. It exists only to run the form you are using, which is why it does not need your consent.

What we do not do

No Google Analytics, and no other tracking that sets cookies or builds a profile of you
No advertising or retargeting pixels. There is no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag and no Google Ads tag on this site
No fingerprinting, no session recording, no heatmaps and no chat widget
No third-party fonts. Our fonts are served from this website

If this changes

If we ever add anything that sets a cookie or tracks you, this page changes first, a consent banner appears, and nothing of that kind loads until you choose.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. That works whatever we do, and it will not break this site.
