We answer the phone during opening hours. We do not run a 24 hour line, and we would rather say so than advertise something we cannot staff. Outside those hours, use the booking form and we call back on the next working day.

Fire alarm work is not a licensed trade in the UK, so anyone may call themselves a fire alarm company. Third-party certification is how competence is actually evidenced, which is why our BAFE registration number is published rather than just the logo. You can check it against the BAFE register yourself.

Regulated activity
Fire safety work in England and Wales is governed by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, enforced by the local fire and rescue authority. We are not a regulated profession with a statutory supervisory body, so there is no professional title or authorising state to declare. Our work follows the relevant British Standards, principally BS 5839-1 for fire alarm systems, BS 5266-1 for emergency lighting, and BS 5306-3 and BS 5306-8 for fire extinguishers.
Prices
We do not publish prices. The cost of fire safety work depends on the building, its size and construction, the system category your fire risk assessment calls for, and the condition of anything already installed. A price given before someone has seen the building is a guess. We survey first, then quote in writing, and the survey is free.
